I wore it around town, to the store, to meet up with friends. I wanted to see if people noticed, if they’d say, “Hey, is that a Prada?” No one did, really. Maybe they don’t know, or maybe they don’t care. Or maybe it is just a remake, and not a real one? I do not know.
But here’s the thing, and this is what I realized after this whole experiment: a bag is just a bag. Sure, this one’s got a fancy name, and it’s made a certain way, but in the end, it just holds your stuff. Like, I saw some versions of Prada bags, the 2000 mini shoulder bag had a fabric strap, then the 2005 version was using this Saffiano leather for the strap.

- This whole “original order” thing, it’s just a label. Don’t get too caught up in the words.
- If you like it, and it works for you, that’s all that matters. Whether it’s a Prada, a remake, or something else entirely.
So, that’s my little adventure into the world of fancy bags. Was it worth it? Maybe. I learned something, and I got a new bag out of it. Would I do it again? Probably not. But hey, at least now I can say I’ve been there, done that, got the, uh, “original order” T-shirt, so to speak.
