Okay, so, I’ve been wanting a Fendi Mon Tresor bucket bag for a while now, ever since I saw it back in 2018. I finally decided to pull the trigger and get one. It’s a classic, and they have so many different versions now.
First, I started by looking online. I checked out a bunch of places that sell used bags, because, let’s be honest, these things are expensive. I found a couple of sites that seemed legit, with authenticators and everything. I saw prices ranging from like $1,000 to $1,450, which is way better than new.
Then, I thought, maybe I should check out some local spots in Indianapolis where I live. I saw some listings for used Fendi bags, but I didn’t see any Mon Tresors specifically.
I also looked at some of the big-name online consignment shops. They had a decent selection, and some were even 40% off. Plus, they had a bunch of different colors, like brown and black.
My Shopping Journey
- Searched online: Started by browsing various online platforms for pre-owned bags to find better deals.
- Explored local options: Checked out local listings in Indianapolis, though I didn’t find the specific model I was looking for.
- Checked consignment shops: Browsed through well-known online consignment shops, discovering a variety of colors and some bags at 40% off.
- Considered new options: Looked at the official Fendi site and other luxury retailers, but the prices were a bit steep for me.
I even looked at the official Fendi site and some of those fancy online stores, but man, those prices! I mean, it’s a beautiful bag, but it’s a lot of money.
It seems like these bags hold their value pretty well, though. I saw something online about how certain Fendi bags can retain up to 60% of their value. That made me feel a little better about spending the money.
I did a little more digging and found out that Fendi has a big factory in Tuscany, Italy. It’s like a 30-acre place! That’s pretty cool. It makes sense that they produce so many bags.
After all that searching, I finally found the perfect one! I ended up getting a pre-owned one from a reputable online consignment shop. It was in great condition, and I saved a ton of money compared to buying it new.
I got to say, it was totally worth the search. I love my new (to me) Fendi Mon Tresor!
