Well, let me tell you, this here watch, this Copy OMEGA Speedmaster Skywalker X-33, it’s somethin’ else. I seen a lot of watches in my time, but this one, it’s got all them fancy doohickeys. They call it a “classic style,” but it ain’t like the old watches my old man used to wear. This one’s got buttons and screens and all sorts of things.
It’s big, too. They say it’s 45 mm. I don’t know what a millimeter is, but it’s a big ol’ watch. Made outta somethin’ called “grade 2 titanium.” Sounds strong, don’t it? Like somethin’ they’d use on them space rockets. And the front is black, like the night sky. Got a black ring around it, too, made of ceramic, they say. Fancy, huh?
This Skywalker X-33, It’s Got Buttons!
Now, I ain’t one for all these newfangled gadgets, but this here watch, it’s got buttons. Lots of ’em. You push ’em, and things happen. It’s got a screen, too, a little one. Shows you the time, I reckon, and probably other things I ain’t figured out yet. They say it’s an “LCD display.” Don’t know what that means, but it lights up, so that’s somethin’. The original Speedmaster X-33 came out a while back in 1998. I don’t recall seein’ it back then. This new one is for them space explorers.
And get this, it’s got a battery. Lasts for two whole years, they say. Two years! Back in my day, you had to wind your watch every day. This Copy OMEGA watch, though, it just keeps on tickin’. They call it a “quartz movement.” Sounds like somethin’ you’d find in a rock. And it’s “thermo-compensated.” I don’t know what in tarnation that means, but it sounds important.

They say this watch, this Copy OMEGA Speedmaster Skywalker X-33, it’s been tested by them space people. The ESA, they call ’em. European Space Agency. Sounds mighty official. They say it’s got all sorts of special functions. I don’t know what they are, but I reckon they’re useful for somethin’. Maybe tellin’ you when to plant your taters or somethin’. Or maybe it tells you when them aliens are comin’. Who knows?
They say it is the third one they made of this kind. Called it the third generation. Sounds like a family of watches, don’t it? This one is better than the other two, I reckon. Must be, since it is the new one.
It’s a Copy, But It’s Still Somethin’
Now, I heard tell this one’s a copy. Not the real deal, they say. But hey, it still looks mighty fine. And it’s got all them buttons and that screen. It’s a conversation starter, that’s for sure. I wore it down to the feed store the other day, and everyone was askin’ about it. They was all impressed. Even young Timmy, who’s always got his face glued to his phone, he was lookin’ at it.

The band is made of titanium, too. Grade 2 and 5, whatever that means. It feels strong, though. Like it could last a lifetime. And it is shiny. I like shiny things. Makes it look expensive, even if it is a copy. I bet the real one costs a fortune. More than I got in my cookie jar, that’s for sure.
I don’t know much about watches, but this one, this Copy OMEGA Speedmaster Skywalker X-33 Classic Style, it’s got me thinkin’. Maybe there’s somethin’ to all these newfangled gadgets after all. Maybe they ain’t so bad. This watch, it’s like a little piece of magic, I reckon. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll figure out all them buttons and what they do. Maybe one day I’ll even go to space.
